A feeding therapist’s note

When we think about accessible cooking, I often look at whether a tool changes how someone needs to use their hands. The Fluicer is a great example.

The Fluicer’s sideways action allows people to use both hands and bring more of their arm strength into the movement. Although the sideways action may reduce the effort required compared with some traditional citrus presses, the Fluicer still requires sufficient upper-limb strength, coordination and two-handed control. It may not be suitable for everyone.
